Europe > Spain > VallodalidHacienda Abascal lays in a vineyard of Castile and Leon beside the Duero River, where wines are born to become of recognized world-wide prestige. This boutique wine hotel is a mixture of modern art and tradition.
The Abascal's contemporary design is in complete harmony with its setting thanks to large windows which let enter lots of natural light into the hotel's rooms. The limestone building has the characteristic of noble buildings of the shores of the Duero and because of the stones structure it looks like it has emerged from the surrounding vineyards. Admire the limestone floors, wooden ceilings and organic colouring. We have an international cuisine and our 2 Michelin star chef Sergi Arola uses fresh, local produce. Accompany a delicious meal with a fine Spanish wine of the region. And don't forget to taste our own wines. We harvest and select our grapes by hand and store our delicious wine in barrels of French oak.
Communal lounges are decorated with inviting leather furnishings, clever lighting and more wonderful views. Make the most of sunny afternoons on the Abascal's outdoor terrace. We have 2 Double Rooms and 2 Junior Suites.
